Computational Soft and Living Matter Lab
We use statistical physics and computation to uncover how soft and living systems organize, adapt, and respond.
Welcome to Computational Soft and Living Matter Lab!
We explore the complex behavior of soft and living systems through the lens of statistical physics and computational simulation. Our research focuses on how entropy, structure, and dynamics interplay in systems ranging from polymer networks to biological assemblies and smart materials. Our work aims to bridge fundamental physics with applications in biomedicine and material science. We are also extending statistical physics tools toward the foundations of AI, exploring how learning dynamics, generalization, and emergent behaviors can be understood through energy landscapes and interacting degrees of freedom.
We believe in curiosity-driven research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating an open space where ideas can grow freely. Whether you are interested in statistical mechanics, numerical simulations, or the physics of living matter—we are always excited to connect.
